Rihanna Navy, Are You Ready?

Rihanna uses her social activism to bring awareness to the lack of diversity in the beauty industry by creating her own makeup collection. Rihanna made the announcement on Instagram May 31, 2017, stating that her products would be available this Fall. Now, we know exactly when her makeup will be hitting the shelves.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a HUGE Rihanna fan. I absolutely adore her because she is authentic and she has yet to change who she is.

I’ll buy anything Rihanna is selling. She’s aware of the lack of diversity that’s in the beauty industry and she made it her mission to include foundations in all shades and skin tones. Sometimes, it is hard for women–specifically women of color, to find foundation that matches their skin. We want more shades that fit a variety of skin tones. Not just a standard “dark” brown color that only matches a select few.

Plus, this Trophy Wife highlighter is one of the most desired products from her beauty collection. I’m doing a product review and makeup tutorial as soon as I get my hands on these products!

I also caught up with a local Sephora employee to inquire more about the collections. Although they couldn’t disclose much to me, they did tell me that the price range was surprisingly affordable and that the products are very nicely made.
